This is my final logo design. Originally I inserted the image onto my homepage in dreamweaver and was going to use the font i downloaded off fontsquirell.com to write ‘J/LIANOS’ over the top. However I couldn’t work out how to do this even after watching some unhelpful youtube video tutorials, so as a last resort I used photoshop to add the text over the top. However the font (blackout midnight), is going to be used throughout my website without the use of photoshop.

Here i’m messing around with optimization.
A few logo designs for my website, i realise there aren’t actually three n’s in my name.. woops
This mood board represents the style of website I aim to create. I want to use soft tones, with bold fonts. I really like text over images like the logo for online magazine, About to blow. (www.abouttoblow.com) I found the other images down the right hand side and the main image on tumblr. I like these as they’re all natural locations, which i think contrast well with bold font. I also like how they have pink, blue and green tones, which progressively merge into one another, creating a nice subtle effect which i might consider using as a background for my web page.
The bottom two pictures were taken by me, the first is Brooklyn bridge taken with my Pentax, and the second is the sunrise at the beach in Jersey, taken using a disposable using two shots to attempts a panoramic view.
Choosing our actors
Although the TV workshop couldn’t provide us with male actors this time, we were able to find a very reliable actor to play the roles.
Jack Scott: Andy
Orique Johnson: Matt
Kamil Manysiak: Tom
Choosing our actresses
In order to get our actresses we contacted the agent Ian Smith who runs the television workshop in nottingham. Here are the four actresses that offered to take on the roles of Zara or Izzi. We decided to go with Chloe Harris and Kaiti soultana.
Chloe will play the role of Zara’s friend, Izzi, who tries to convince her to enjoy herself and forget about Andy.
Kaiti will play Zara.
